True Colors

My true color are both gold and blue (16), also I am 12 green, and 6 orange. As a gold the website informs me that I'm very family orientated, and I value the traditions of home, and the country. I would agree completely. I'm very dependable, my family and friends rely on me to get things done, and they trust me. I'm always a positive guidance to friends or family. I'm the go to person when someone needs to talk/vent, I'm very caring of other peoples feelings. I can corroborate with anybody about their personal problems. Everybody just needs love, and I'm a very positive person. Sometimes, I can put myself last, and my priorities on hold just to console someone else. It's in my character to make sure every one else is okay, before I check on myself. That can be a downfall at times, but I'm trying to work on it. Some of the jobs as a gold were, U.S. Marshals, who enforce federal laws, and they receive and process federal prisoners. Also, a law enforcement officer, better known as police officers. Good thing I'm majoring in criminal justice. 
As a blue, it's basically the same thing as gold, I'm a very loving and nurturing person. My family and friends actually call me "Momma", because they tend to relate me to the character of a mother. I'm always honest, I won't ever tell a friend or family member something they want to hear especially if its not the best for them, I try to set forth a tenet, to relegate a positive outlook. I'm a tenacious person. Some of the careers for this color were, Pediatricians, who are baby doctors, and the funny thing is my Mother always told me from when I was 6, that I should become a pediatrician, because it fits my character, but I changed my mind about that career path in high school, she still supports my decisions. Another career is, psychiatrists, who work to diagnose and treat mental disorders, etc. Good thing my minor is anatomy. This true color test has helped m stabilize my major and minor, and help me set forth my career path. I never thought, "Would I even like criminal justice career path, or anatomy career path?", I just always thought about the pay check, I enjoy the lifestyle of both, but now that I know for sure which way I should go, I'm going to set forth and accomplish my goals.

Gold Minded

My true color is Gold. As a Gold, I am the type of person that does what I say I will do, and will be at where I say I will be at in a timely manner. Some characteristics of Gold are described as a reliable, dependable, realistic, and organized person. My true color reveals who I really am. Some occupations that match my true color are: accountants, loan officers, office managers, and tax preparers. After taking this assessment, I am more confident about my major. I am working on a Business Administration degree, so I can be an accountant. I’m not sure if I want to be an accountant but I do know I love occupations that are germane to the business field. I decided to interview a tax preparer since I don’t know much about that career. I interviewed Ezequiel Barba, an adept entrepreneur. His business is named Taxes Done EZE and is located in Culver City. Taxes Done EZE is where my family files their taxes and where I plan to file mines when I am able to. He explained to me that he took a 6 month course and passed a state exam to be a tax preparer. Also he explained to me that besides doing income taxes he does real estate and notary services because taxes are only done from January to April. His monthly salary varies because he receives commission based income. After this interview I am more open minded about being a tax preparer. This interview helped my life, career, attitude... I really enjoyed this interview and plan to keep on interviewing people in different occupations to help me decide what exactly type of business occupation will benefit me the best.

True colors - Gold

My True Colors was the color gold.I feel good that gold is my color because it describes my personality very well by saying that I cherish the traditions of home and family I'm very big in that I always but family first before anything I'm a family man. Another thing it say's is that I'm on point on my things this is true but false also. The truth is when someone need's help or needs a favor I'm always on point on the time they tell me or anything else they need but the false part is sometimes I get lazy on doing homework or I don't do it.Third, I am very reliable because people can count on me to do my job and get my work done on time. Lastly, I am very dependable because i do everything myself and don't like to see people doing things for me, it just doesn't look right for me.People that are gold follow the rules and we enjoy symmetry. We like having jobs to do that is clearly defined. We like when everything is spelled out for us and we do not have to guess is preferred.Being GOLD comes with a lot of responsibility. My family comes to me for a lot of things like, planning a party, settling family disagreements, repairing thier car such as oil chang or basic tune-up and many more. Sometimes it can get very frustrating because I feel that I need to be in control at all times.But I do like working hard and having job's that make me use my hands not just sit on a desk I like to do things and make sure I do a good job. The job I choose and that they gave me was a Fire Fighter this is something I really love to get in-to specailly because I have family that is either a police officer or a Fire Fighter. I protect communities against the loss of life, injury, and destruction of property by fire. Also if their is a fire on the freeway and if I may need to pull out poeple from the car's I wanna be able to save other people lives but not be a hero I just wanna do my job. This job will be tuff because I have to be alert at all times making sure me and also my fellow fire fighter make it alive from a dangerous fire or any element they we come across. I would I have to be in the best shape helping one another also cooking from what rookies have to do once they become a Fire fighter is do all the work. As a Fire Fighter takes alot of responability but at the end it will be all worth it because I will be doing the job of my dreams and the pay isn' that bad. Fire Fighters perform work in physically demanding situations and for prolonged periods under dangerous conditions (This is one of the nation's most dangerous occupations).Hours vary but often include being on duty 24 hours and then being off duty 24 or 48 hours, resulting in 56 hours a week, including holidays. Also I would may be exposed to toxic gases and fumes, smoke, flames, hazardous chemicals, heat, stress, and high levels of noise.

True Color? The Color Blue

I have taken the test that is called "True Colors." The results have somewhat surprised me because it has gotten some detail in the real me and some that seem a bit false. My True Color is the color Blue. It says that I am "among the most loving, nuturing and supportive people in the world. You often seek to express your inner self." Both true and falso about me, I am a loving person at heart, but I rather not express my "true" inner self to many people. I do have a kind heart though and I care for others even if at times it seems that they could care less of me. It is in my nature to be this way wether I like it or not it is something I have no control over. I am also a bit judgemental but the results say that I am the least, so that is nother false I don't always judege but there are times where I can not really help myself even though I think judging is wrong it is just in my nature. Yes I can comminucate from my heart with almost anybody, though others may think this is a weakness I consider this more of a strength. The reason I consider this a strength is because it makes me more open minded, I can make better decisions and choices the way I see it. Other people do not give the time or effort to understand another thus leaving them in a state of uncertainty or confusion, I on the other hand would give people a chance to tell me who they really are as a person. I do not really like friendships even though the results say I do, not many people can be trusted even though you tried to give them your trust it is not worth it at times. But I truly am kind at first even though it may not look like it, I usually get a comment that I am mean or uncaring when the truth is that its them who feel that way about me. The thing I may love the most right now in my life could be my dogs I feel as if they have had my back more times then my rea friends have or at times even family. So I am really caring in certain things. I have been a college student for about 8 weeks and I have a undecided major. I am open minded too many things and a few jobs the results gave me that caught my attention were actor, animal trainer, animal health services, cardiologist, guide dog trainers, massage technicians and a few more in this area. But the ones that got my attention the most were Chiropraactor and Physical Therapy. I find the human body quite interesting and I have looked into those two careers before and I have been very interested with what they do. I wanted to put my major as one of them even though the major is the same for those two jobs. For some reason I end up losing interest but then later I gain the interest back. I have searched much about these two careers but I still feel as if I am unsure for some strange reason. I am sociable like most of these people are I have no problem with talking to other people. I also would like to work using my hands and moving around such as these two careers ask for. I have great communication skills. I think I would be almost perfect for either of these two careers. I just have to see if I am truly meant for it to begin with.

My Golden Job

My True Colors was the color gold and the job I was assigned to is a front office manager. First I felt this job title did not really fit me and was austere but once I opened my mind to the possibility of what a front office manager dose and how important their job is it did not seem so bad. As a front office manager your department is to impress and be kind to others. You are the first and last impression that a guest to the hotel see, so it's your job to ensure it's a good one. People depend on front office mangers to get things done and be ready for any task. Front office managers are known for their positive impact on guests and great customer service skills. On the top of the list of responsibilities for a front office manager it is to make sure your receptionists on the front desk are well-trained, friendly and offer a warm welcome and speedy, efficient check-in and check-out service for guest. Their duties are to controlling the availability of rooms and the day-to-day functions of the front office, such as handling guest arrival or departure and information requests. A front office manager also assists them with the handling of their baggage and is in charge of the check-in and check-out of whole groups and tours. You might need many skills but you need to have the bases such as good telephone skills, the ability to multitask and manage your time, and lastly ready to make fearful decision. Although they make roughly about 20,000 to 29,000 a year it also depending on the location and style of hotel their salary are not very mesmerize but it a start. The typically hours for a front office manager is about 35 to 40 hours weekly that is a fair amount of hours especially for those who have families at homes.” You prefer a work environment where duties responsibilities and line of authority are clearly defined" the true color result fit me and my personality I am a hard worker, punctual, and could take jurisdiction over a room because of my out spoken ways. I love the way it said if I fail at plan “A” I always got a plan “B”. I feel that the result help me see the job as a positive rather than a negative and if I can be all the thing the my true color says that I am I can accomplish so much in life.

 According to the True Color Assessment I took online, my true color is Green. As a Green, we tend to be natural leaders and deep thinkers. We are usually the driving force of any organization, or activity in which we participate. Also, I agree when it said having control is important to people who scored green. Also, when it said we tend to feel pride and feel best about ourselves when we are solving problems and are work is being recognize, and it's quite true, because usually the work I do is for teachers or other civilians to praise my work, and it gives me this huge boost of confidence. Also, as employees, some may tend to work against the system just so they can feel they have authority over the authority. Again, I agree with it because as right now I work at Mcdonalds and I'm the new guy, but I don't like being bossed around by the managers, instead I want to be the one bossing them around.

The True Color assessment gave me a variation of careers that seem very interested from Genetic Engineer, Psychologist, and Emergency Medical Technician, but the career that stood out the most was Physicians, also called Doctors or General Practitioners. I was mesmerized that I got this career, because this is the career I had in mind since the get-go. Doctors, diagnose and treat human disease, and to make patients robust again like they were before. To be a doctor you must be able to make quick and accurate decision in case of an emergency, so in this job you can't goof around, because you are dealing with a situation that can lead to life or death. Also, be able to use words to communicate with others, as saying learning more languages, having a strong vocabulary skills, and also having the ability to listen to patients which is very important. Doctors, work in private offices, health clinics, emergency rooms, or hospital. The work environment I would like to work at is at a hospital, because its more fascinated to me, and not as austere as other work place. I get to work with other doctors with different specialty like Pediatrician,Cardiologist, Orthopedics, & Neurologist. My specialty would be Plastic Surgeon, but I want to focus more on Face Reconstructive, instead of Cosmetics, because its more interesting, but I still learn how to do it all. The education to get to this path is very vigorous, as to you have to go to 4 years of college, 4 years of medicals, and 3 years of residency, and even more training for people trying to choose a specialist, but if I set my mind to it, I can accomplish it.

Green is the new gold

        After receiving my true color results, it says my color is green. I feel like as if this color was meant for me. It describes how I am. It says I'm a natural leader, deep thinker, and Independent, and that is really how I am. Yes, I am a natural leader. I tend to like having things my way. I always tend to make the plans. I like having control because it represents the abilities I pride myself with. Being a leader makes me feel better about myself especially when my ideas are recognized. Second, I am a deep thinker. I tend to express a global perspective rather then a narrow one. I also usually need to know the roots of any concept and the detest simplistic explanations. I have always been a inquisitive student. Third, I am independent. I don't rely on anybody to do my work. I don't want anybody to get their hands dirty for me.
       I feel like this color was meant for me because it has my characteristics and it has a recourse of mine. I'm majoring in Aerospace Engineering. Since I was younger I've always like to design things. I have always like working with my hands. I also always had a passion for planes.
       Aerospace Engineering focuses in Aerodynamics, propulsion, Celestial Machines of aircraft and spacecraft. Aerospace Engineers can also design seaplanes for the military. Aerospace can also include Astronautical Engineers. An Astronautical Engineer is basically someone who designs and test aircraft, spacecraft, and missiles as well.
       The person I interviewed was my friends father, Joseph Cozzolino.  He's an Aerospace Engineer in Northrop Grumman. He helps design military missiles.He also does a lot to do with lasers. He told me he uses a lot of algebra at his job. There isn't one day where he doesn't  have to deal with math. He also told me in order to get to where he's at you have to go through a lot of math and physic classes. H

e also mentioned that he had to reiterate some classes when he was attending CSULB.

Hopeful success

As a orange, I have a zest for life and desire to test the limits may best expresses your nature. oranges tend to be the adventurous ones. Which explains about me. I have tendency to be hyper full of energy, when I talk my voice makes me sound like I'm screaming because of how loudly I speak, and I multitask a lot. The true colors test has given me graphic artist/designer. Their job was made to work anywhere comfortable. It's funny how it chose that as one of my option because i am currently enrolled in a digital art class at El Camino College. Graphic designers can be categorized in many ways. From designing animations for any cartoon shows to making designs for clothing brands that people might want to wear. Education for a graphic designer is pretty simple, what is needed more to be successful in that career is connection with people who knows how to get things out to people who would be willing to pay for one's graphic design. Graphic designers salary depends on experience and how good they work on the project. In Los Angeles the average pay for them is around $55,000 yearly depending on how big the project is.
I have bunch of friends who are graphic designers. one of them named cory who i talked to about his career and his currently working on a clothing brand called "zen". i asked him a couple of question because i was interested in his type of work.
What type of education is needed?
"Taking some graphic design classes and drawing fundamentals will help quite a lot and also working for my dad who designs so i guess i'm lucky"
Are there any negatives about this job?
"Well yes there is, there is always pros and cons on any job. being a graphic designer is hard work, it takes time to be successful in it. just gotta keep trying and moving forward"
He has also told me what he like most about his job is getting to move on his own pace at his own time and no one could be the boss of him. 
I concluded that being a graphic designer is the one for me because i like to be creative with my work. I like to just do things when i feel like doing things. That was my plan all along even when i was in Highschool. It is me and my little brother's dream to make our clothing brand, making hats and clothing mostly and eventually designing skateboards.

Gold Mine!! Keep Out...

After taking the True Color personality test I found out I was the color Gold.  The color gold describes my characteristics correctly not all but some. Family to me is really important and traditions as well. I like to show I care and motivate people to do the right thing and to be responsible for their actions. I’m always the go to girl when it comes to advice or planning events, because when some plans don’t work I always have an alternative plan to back it up and make it better. I like my personal space at home and work to be neat and orderly so that explains my neat freak traits. I’m always trying to have my stuff clean and organize. Also, I like to follow rules and regulations. Following rules is a big thing for me I don’t like to get in trouble for not following simple rules. Finally, when I’m not recognized for my hard work and dependency I tend to feel uncomfortable and unappreciated so I like to be rewarded for my efforts.

The career that I got was auto mechanic also known as auto technician.  They take care of repairing vehicles and diagnosing any repairs needed that is causing the problem on vehicles.  The requirements on this career requires hands on training at least two years’ experience and to obtain the automotive service excellence certificate to sanction to work on vehicles. If you get the opportunity of taking auto mechanics in high school make sure you take advantage. So when you finally done you could get to work at a dealership or garage job. The job isn't stressful but requires a lot of patience and interaction with customers. It gets irritating when you get raucous customers. Also, you get dirty a lot and have to be under tight spaces and work indoors all the time under supervision. Always make sure you have you own tools, some dealers may give your special manufacture tools. This career is constantly growing, because with new vehicles being manufacture with computers you need to have a lot of knowledge on computers to fixed vehicles.  I was talking to Jeremy Fiala he’s an automotive technician from Eastern Shore Toyota. He’s been working there for six years already. He likes the fact that the job pays good and your always learning something new. A detriment about the job is that you have to clean after leaving the job. He works from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday thru Saturday and he only gets a day off. His advice is to learn all the math you can and to not give up. This career pays an average of $3,255 and highest $5,006 and up. The jobs expected every year with 31,170 openings available.

My True Color: Gold

After recieving my true color assesment results, it made me realize how much options I have for a job. It even made my head spin a little. My true color is gold. I noticed that being apart of the gold this category means that I enjoy order in my life, my home, and family. The person I am is not egocentric. I'm just the opposite I'm more giving than anything. I am a person that always wants to get things done and right. I highly believe in the motto that was stated in my true colors result which is "always be prepared". I believe that motto because anything could happen so you should always have a plan B.
Before taking this true colors assessment I didn't know what I wanted to be. I was just so perfunctory in everything. I'm just so confused but I was also mesmerized by all the options they gave me. Since, their are a lot of options it made me a little scared because what if I try something and I just dont if im gunna like it. After going through the list of jobs they gave me, none of them really stuck out to me. All I really want is to have a job that makes a differenece in people lives. So when I came across parole and probation officer and pharmacy assitant it really caught my attention. I liked the pharmacy assitant better because its in the medical field and I know im making more of a difference in some ones life. Even though I never though about being a pharmacy assistant I am really considering it.
A pharmacy assistant work under the direction of and assist pharmacists. The assistant does everything needed in the workplace like labeling, putting information into computers, make sure the pharmacy is clean, and stock shelves. What really caught my attention about this job is that you should  be really good in math. I actually am really good in math and math happens to be my favorite subject. Even though being a pharmacy assistant caught my eye I'm still not sure if its fits me and is something that I will be willing to do. I believe that over time I will figure out what my dream job is after I explore a little more.

Go Blue or Go Home

     After completing my True Colors Self- Assessment and receiving my True Color results, I was euphoric to find out that the qualities and characteristics of the color blue were Right On about my personality. As a blue; we are among the most loving, nurturing and supportive people in the world. We often seek to express ourselves from the heart, and we are generally sensitive. Blues also possess extraordinary people skills, and others enjoy our presence. We tend to value honesty and authenticity, also we are least judgmental of all people and we tend to focus on what is good in people. Career wise, I was able to find out that as a blue we have a great amount of career choices and are able to succeed in different career fields, reason being that as a blue you may begin to dislike your job if the people and tasks become routine. We prefer family-like, friendly, personalized and warm work environments. As I looked through the list of occupations pertaining to the color blue I noticed a great amount of jobs in the Human Health Sciences and Services (Medical Field). Having seen this made me feel more confident about the career choice I have chosen to persevere.
    I did some more research into the career I want to perceive and Registered Nursing also known as RN's is among the top 10 occupations with the largest job growth. Registered Nursing requires a large base of knowledge used to assess, plan and intervene to promote health, prevent disease and help patients cope with illness. They are health educators and advocates for patients, families and communities.They have an idiosyncratic scope of practice and can practice independently. Professional nursing responsibilities have changed considerably over time. Nurses today are highly respected and valued members of the health care team who bring their own body of knowledge to the process of health care. Some nurses choose to focus on a particular specialty. There are numerous specialty options, each of which has its own training/certification requirements and related professional network or organization. In addition, nursing has four advanced practice clinical professions, each of which requires a graduate degree and separate certification. Looking at the working conditions; most nurses work in healthcare facilities although home health and public health nurses travel to their patients', homes, schools, community centers and other sites. RN's may spend considerable time walking and standing, inclusive may be exposed to communicable diseases. Some may work on board ships and in natural disasters or war zones They also need to be able to cope well with stress, since nursing involves direct involvement with human suffering, emergencies and other pressures. Preparation consists of a high school diploma or equivalent required for admission  to any school of Nursing. There are two major ways of obtaining education to become a Registered Nurse: a Bachelors Degree;4-5 years of study, or an Associates Degree; 2 years of study. Registered Nurses earn on average $64,690 a year, although compensation depends on level of education, experience, geographic location and the type of facility. Experienced registered nurses with advanced education can earn $80,000 a year or more.

        From the true color test, it showed that my dominant color is gold and I feel that it's spot on. I feel good that gold is my color because it describes my personality very well by saying that I am organized, punctual, reliable, and dependable. I totally agree with the color it gave me because first I like to keep certain things organized and know where they are at to make it easier on me to find. Second, I am punctual because I don’t like being late to anywhere I go because that’s not me and it looks wrong for me. Third, I am very reliable because people can count on me to do my job and get my work done on time. Lastly, I am very dependable because i do everything myself and don't like to see people doing things for me, it just doesn't look right for me.when it comes down to me and what I do. It also says that I value order and family and it’s correct because I put my family first before anything and do whatever I can to make my family happy. It didn’t have the job I was looking for in my career, but like always you need to have a backup plan for everything you do and it had another good career that I would see myself getting into and that is Recreation Leaders. I believe this job is a good fit for me because my traits are a perfect fit for that career. I can interact with people very well and know how to deal with them when they are not in their best mood. Even though I am reticent, I can still show authority and let the people know that who is in control and that is something I am very good at doing. Also, the career fits me well because it has to do with parks and taking care of the kid’s after school and look out for them. The person I interviewed that works in Recreation Leader was my brother Jamie Aguilar. His occupation is Recreation Leader 1.  I asked him about how much salary they make and also what kind of job you do and he told me that the job is very simple, easy, and relaxing because you need to have a great personality and be able to cohesive with the people you are looking out for and really need to enjoy your job. Even though you don’t get pay that much it’s still a good career because you learn a lot about people and learn new things everyday and sometimes you can teach people something that they didn’t know about the world or they can look up to you. You also learn how to be responsibility, healthy, and active in the job because of the people around you and all of the work you do. He also told me that the place is not a Utopia but you can work with it as much as you want. The important question I ask my brother was can you favor one person more than another? He told me that you can't be indiscriminate with the people because then you will have big problems.

True Color Career Match

When I took the True Color test my results showed that I was mostly Blue with 18. (13-Gold, 12-Green, 7-Orange) I am known to be one of the most loving, nurturing, and supportive people in the world according to the test. I believe most of the information on here is true and resembles who I am. One of the options for occupations I may be good at, and I had interest in was to be a Bilingual School Teacher/Translator. I've always loved learning about my culture (I'm full Japanese/ somewhat fluent lately it's been rusty though, because I haven't used it as much) and it  also gives me a reason to practice both languages. Depending on grades and if special needs or not the wage they make differs. It seems fun and it was somewhat I wanted to major and become so I was surprised when I saw it as one of the job options. 

I've always loved the thought of helping out, and during Elementary and Middle School I noticed the teachers always put me in charge of taking care of the foreign kid, because...well I'm not too sure, but I'm guessing there was a good reason though. I understand how frustrating it can get at times but in the end all of the help makes me feel good that I was able to help someone in need. I hope everything works out in the end and I can find a nice job in the future. ♥

Gold!

Gold! My true color is “Gold.” As a gold color we value home and family traditions with order. We are depended upon and we are reliable as we are punctual about it. We crave structure of society with loyalty as our marks. We are generous and show that we care especially when people do the right things or showing responsibility for their actions. When we do something “the right way” it makes us feel good and we take pride in it. We have a place for everything and are organized in our work and personal space. We know where things are when we need them. Gold people like to look at the facts. We are not interested in the idea theory, we enjoy realistic facts. People that are gold follow the rules and we enjoy symmetry. We like having jobs to do that is clearly defined. We like when everything is spelled out for us and we do not have to guess is preferred. Gold people like to have lucid directions. We also worry a lot, we want things to do well and worry that they will not go as planned. Gold people like to have not only a plan but a good plan. We plan for everything so much that if it does not go as planned, we get uneasy. Gold people also plan for B, C, and D so if things don’t go as planned then we have a back-up.

Gold is a true match for me. I love being with my family and coming home at night. Structure is important to me. I like to have a set schedule.  When I do “the right thing” I feel great about that. Doing something wrong makes me feel uneasy and I have to do it the right way. Facts are important to me, facts that are clear cut. There is no guessing when I have clear cut facts. Rules are everything to me. Rules and guidelines are very important to me because rules are there for a reason, not just to be mean. I have a plan for everything I do. I plan my day with what I have to do and what I want to do and how long that should take me.  My friends look to me for a plan because they know that I will have everything that needs to get done. I have a plan A, B, C, and sometimes D. The plans are made that day, that way nothing can change too much.

One of the gold occupations is a Railroad Conductor. One of the responsibilities of a railroad conductor is to direct the crew of the passengers or freight train. They are also in charge of the train’s operations while en route and/or in the rail yard. Conductors work with the crew to make sure that that train gets to its destination safe and on time.  Conductors need to have good communication skills with both good oral and written. Also a railroad conductor needs to be able to multitask, being able to give directions to their crew members, have very good hand-eye coordination, as well as hand and feet coordination. A railroad conductor is very physical. It’s a demanding job every day; you work in outside and inside environments. The risk of injury is high because there is moving and precarious mechanics. Railroad conductors in California get paid from $3,000 as entry to a top pay of $5,000 and up per month. According to the standard Occupational Classification, it states that railroad conductors could grow from 40,800 in 2010 to 42,700 in 2020 at a rate of 9.2%.

A railroad conductor sounds good in theory, but I do not think that I could do it day in and day out. I enjoy trains and things to do with trains. I think that when you enjoy something since childhood and then you start working with it, it can take the fun out of it, and it kills your childhood memories. If I were to work as a railroad conductor, then it would take the fun out of it for me.
